중개보수 (Agent fee / 복비)

A one-time fee paid to the licensed agent, capped by law.

중개보수 (junggae-bosu), also called 복비, is a one-time fee you pay the licensed agent when the contract is signed. Korean law caps it: the rate is set by the size of the deal, so for most one-room rentals it lands around ₩200,000–300,000. It goes to the agent's office, not to WAZZHOME. The cap is a maximum, not a fixed price — you can ask to negotiate it down before you sign.
