The Alien Registration Card (ARC / 외국인등록증) is issued to foreigners staying long-term in Korea. Some landlords and lease-protection services require it to sign a contract or register your lease. Listings marked ‘ARC-friendly’ are known to work smoothly with foreign tenants.
